SourceAmerica is looking for a talented Senior Billing Specialist - Federal Government to join its Vienna, VA-based team.

Job Summary Here are some of the functions of this job; a full job description will be given to candidates in the interview process.
Essential Functions Review and validate sub-contractor's invoices received from SourceAmerica's Operations Team for Prime Contracts and approve invoices for payment per the sub-contract terms Invoice federal government and commercial customers as per the contractual terms including submitting invoices on government and commercial customer portals (IPP, WAWF, OB10, Grainger Jagger etc.
) Enter Prime Contract invoices in FOA and/or in D365 to book revenue Engage in continuous collection efforts for the assigned Prime accounts Reconcile payments received from govt and commercial customers for assigned accounts and complete payment batches in D365 Review AR schedules monthly to identify delinquent invoices and/or payments and follow up as appropriate.
Maintain and keep up to date all records of assigned accounts Assist in month end closing activities and complete accruals Process AP payments, post payment batch(s), generate ACH files, send ACH notifications and mail checks Communicate and provide support to internal & external customers for SourceAmerica as prime related matters Act as back-up and assist other Prime Contract team members and Finance Department in times of need Assist in FOA/D365 testing and enhancement Work closely with SourceAmerica's Operations and Contract Management teams to efficiently resolve all Prime projects issues All of our employees participate in the following:
Actively participate in SourceAmerica's Everyday Performance Management program Cooperate fully with meeting the requirements of the Cooperative Agreement of the AbilityOne Commission Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned Required Education, Experience, and Skills Associates degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
