Principal Software Engineer - Traffic Engineering
Job Description ServiceNow's Traffic team is seeking experienced software engineers to build systems for balancing and managing application traffic.
Our Traffic team builds load balancers, RPC frameworks, and the automation infrastructure that's required to operate ServiceNow's HTTP traffic.
We glue varied network services together in order to orchestrate the delivery of bits from our servers to you.
The Traffic team owns and operates all traffic management for ServiceNow.
What you get to do in this role:
Develop HTTP stacks to run on varied devices and servers Implement and integrate next-generation protocols like HTTP2 and QUIC Collaborate with Network Engineering teams to design and build our next-generation load balancing infrastructure Design load balancing software to optimize traffic flow between data centers Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of network infrastructure and rich telemetry data Ensure connectivity to the ServiceNow Cloud is highly reliable Conduct design and code reviews.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
