Part Time Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant

The successful candidate will be working for Dr.
Micha Joffee, a Washingtonian recognized Top Doctor, who has a reputation for excellence in the DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the office's phone system - Patient registration - Collect and update patient medical history and personal information - Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and assist medical providers as needed - Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting EKGs.
Phlebotomy proficiency strongly preferred.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Handle and appropriately forward patient inquiries, provide information, and address pastient concerns
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required - At least 2 years previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting - Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic health records - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and medical providers - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment -Punctuality and reliability -Abiltiy to learn new tasks quickly -Strong work ethic, pride in a job well done -Salary depends on amount of experience and skills Job Type:
