Allcare Family Medicine is seeking talented and passionate medical assistants.
Looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual who is capable of multi-tasking and willing to learn new procedures.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining patient vital signs, medical history, surgical history, medication history etc.
Assist providers with medical procedures (lacerations, Pap-smears, I&D's) Prepare and give injections (medications and vaccinations) Specimen collection (blood, urine, stool, etc.
) Perform EKG's Hearing and Visual screenings Ear/ Eye Irrigation Clean wounds Take phone messages for providers (ex:
Rx refills) Cleaning and stocking exam rooms Assisting at the front desk and with other duties as assigned Job Requirements:
At least two years' experience as a medical assistant in a Primary care/ Urgent Care setting Exceptional customer service skills Strong clinical skills Must be able to work independently and on a team EMR experience preferred (AthenaNet) Professional demeanor Job Type:
