Duties and Responsibilities:
The forensic analyst will provide Sr. level identity exploitation biometrics focused on DOMEX I2 exploitation, face matching adjudication and digital identity exploitation. Analyst will be responsible for producing intelligence reporting and data correlation in support of exporting data to national databases.
The primary role of this position is as a Senior Forensics Facial Recognition/Facial Identification Examiner. Candidates should have experience in conducting both 1:1 and 1:N facial adjudications and providing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on peer or subordinate adjudications.
The Senior Facial Recognition Examiner will work with the Government customer to develop a formal 1:1 and 1:N Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) based on the current processes and work to formalize the QA/QC process to improve the quality and efficiency of the work. The candidate will build upon the current training process for the facial recognition examiners and develop a formal training process to include a formal system to track and measure each examiners abilities. The Senior SME will work with partner agencies to develop and maintain a relevant facial recognition program. Daily duties consist of conducting QA/QC on the facial recognition work being conducted, working with system developers to improve automated processes and working with the client and partner agencies.
Analysts will conduct thorough identity exploitation of media, to include detecting, extracting, adjudicating and preparing identity attributes for dissemination to national databases. Analyst will maintain thorough understanding of all tools/systems used for identity exploitation of biometric and non-biometric identity attributes. They will perform link analysis for identity attributes across NMEC holdings. Will ensure all work is tracked in accordance with the I2 government lead guidelines. Maintains continuity with partner organizations to ensure data sharing, and awareness of DOMEX policies & guidelines. Analysts will develop and train to stay proficient on operations to include adjudication of face matches. They will also provide input to weekly staff meetings and briefings on exploitation progress. Will routinely interact with interagency partners on products and support services.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's Degree in any field and, minimum of 8+ years of experience in Digital
Forensics and or biometrics with focus on Identity Exploitation.
Experience in working with IARPA, DARPA and IC partners and awareness of new technology developments throughout the USG
Experience in managing Identity Exploitation or Biometrics exploitation operations
5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing biometrics and identity exploitationpolicies, documents and presentations
Additional experience as a latent print examiner or intelligence analyst would be preferred.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills for briefing & presentations
Experience in presenting Identity Exploitation issues to IC and USG senior leaders.
