This position supports the Director of Product Management - Leadership & Management by focusing on growing the business and accompanying services in support of both division and corporate goals. As a conduit between the market, new and existing clients, and professional services, this position provides domain subject matter expertise and consultative support to the corporate business development and account management teams to effectively identify and integrate existing and/or customized coaching and mentoring solutions to meet client needs.
Lead the design, development and implementation of innovative coaching and mentoring programs as stand-alone programs, or as integrated elements of broader talent management, leadership development or workforce development strategies
Collaborate with Business Development and Professional Services to respond to client inquiries regarding coaching and mentoring services
Manage select partnerships and alliances involving coaching and mentoring program administration tools
Provide updates, trends, best practices, and strategies to Business Development, Marketing, and Professional Services on topics related to coaching and mentoring
Conduct research and access resources via multiple channels (i.e., internet, publications, media, personal contacts, etc.) related to coaching and mentoring
Act as a spokesperson on coaching and mentoring issues, including speaking engagements, blog posts and articles written on behalf of the company
Act as an advisor/resource to current and potential clients to support their efforts in implementing coaching and mentoring programs
Partner with Business Operations and Professional Services to identify and engage best-fit resources for proposals and awarded work involving coaching and mentoring
Serve as primary relationship manager for independent consultants who deliver coaching and mentoring services
Extensive knowledge in leadership & workforce development, with deep domain expertise in executive and leadership coaching, group coaching, and mentoring
Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver custom coaching and mentoring programs
Ability to lead the advancement of current coaching and mentoring services to increase market share and meet evolving market needs
Perform market research and networking to determine areas for potential new offering, using multi-source data-driven market analysis techniques
Meet with existing and/or new clients/customers face-to-face
Conduct data-driven analyses using databases
Interface with existing employees to understand potential market needs and facilitate knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Ability to create practice-specific marketing plans, and produce deliverable content to support the plans
Ability to engage in customer relationship development (meeting planning, strategy, participation) emphasizing company and division strengths and solutions while also eliciting needs
Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage multi-demand and multi-priority business development and client projects
Demonstrated ability to effectively coach individuals and/or groups, tailoring coaching support to the specific needs of the coaching client
Ability to work autonomously, and lead teams from an influence position
Ability to think systemically in order to support effective service delivery
Mature interpersonal and social skills
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Master's degree required
5 or more years' experience in related duties
International Coach Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or above
Coaching certification from an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program
Deliver assessment tools as part of coaching or mentoring programs
Familiarity with federal government market required
