Market Research Analyst

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for the development and execution of competitive analysis and market research activities in support of corporate business development qualification and assessment of pursuits and captures.
Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data of markets within DoD, Civilian agencies and the Intelligence Community.
Lead research, analysis, and identification of new business opportunities across key markets through RFP release.
Utilize research tools (eg FBO, GovWin, GSA E-Buy, SeaPort-E, BGOV etc) for daily monitoring and research of pursuit opportunities
Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions and changes for all BRTRC business areas.
Identify and research industry partners and their capabilities
Identify and analyze new requirements, regulatory changes, demographic and technological advances, new products and industry capabilities, policy initiatives, legislative and political developments and trends that shape the government market
Develop market intelligence reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
Develop and prepare pipeline reports for internal stakeholders
Participate in relevant industry events, technology training, and trade shows to gain insight into market developments
Education and Experience Requirements:
BA/BS in Marketing or Business Management
Minimum of 1 year experience as a business development/marketing coordinator or analyst with multiple concurrent projects
Possesses understanding of the government procurement, contracts and general acquisition process
Strong data analysis and organization skills
Must demonstrate the ability to work within a team in a highly collaborative and fast paced dynamic environment
Excellent time and task management with exceptional attention to detail
Must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral
Must demonstrate strong potential and desire to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and situations
Highly Desirable Experience
Market Intelligence/Research/Analysis or applicable internship experience
2 or more years' experience, researching, writing about and quantitatively analyzing government market trends
Knowledge and understanding of acquisition policies and practices within federal agencies and/or government contractors including GSA Schedule, BPAs, IDIQs, GWACs, etc
Possesses understanding of the capture and proposal process and use of market research tools
Experience working in a government contracting environment including proposal development activities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
