Job Description
Responsible for conducting analysis and documenting functional, business, and technical requirements.
Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collect and analyze the project's business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to development team.
Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops.
Provide suggestions to the development team during the development stage of product to meet the client's business needs.
Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product's functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
Document the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client.
Design and executing the test scripts and test scenarios.
Coordinate with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
Manage any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.
Work under general supervision, a wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
Required Skills
Experience with the design of efficient processes to load and manage the data, including a Data Quality Assessment to ensure the quality of the source data will meet the information requirements, developing Business Rules, Data Mappings, and Transformation Rules.
Experience with assisting in the creation of a Physical data model that is optimized for the target Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), i.e., Oracle, DB2/UDB
Some experience with supporting the enforcement of existing and develop new naming standards.
Extensive experience with MS Office including MS Project required
UML and Rational Software Architect (RSA) preferred.
Position requires the current VA access and security clearance
Required Experience
Associate's degree and up to five years related experience and/or training
Additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Extensive experience with MS Office including MS Project required
ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.
Position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance
