We are currently seeking an Account Executive, Inside Sales to join our team in Vienna, VA.
National Background Data by CoreLogic provides wholesale background data to the background screening industry. Our clients trust us to deliver comprehensive, accurate and relevant data used to drive profitability and growth. Under general supervision and working in a team environment, the Account Executive promotes and sells CoreLogic products and services, ensures a high level of customer satisfaction, and achieves sales goals and objectives, within an assigned territory. This senior level outside sales role will target medium to large businesses in building a pipeline and carry a significant quota.
Job Duties
Proactively engage in a consultative and solution oriented sales process. Ensure applicability of products and services in meeting customer needs; plan, prioritize and schedule sales calls and demonstrations. Effectively connect National Background Data solutions to solving clients business challenges.
Generate potential leads through a variety of channels with a strong emphasis on phone contact with clients. Research and identify prospective clients and customers through established database and new research. Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences and seminars less than 10% of time.
Demonstrate strong sales discipline by ensuring customer and prospect databases are maintained. Provide new and change information within established time frames. Follow up with calls and/or visits to customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Deliver product demonstrations in both a web-based and in-office environment. Respond to questions and overcome objections appropriately.
Develop sales proposals and related follow up documentation for existing and potential customers over the course of a sales cycle ranging from two weeks to a few months.
Promote product awareness, enhance sales skills and identify competitive products, potential customers and product enhancement. Provide relevant information and recommendations to management.
Work in a collaborative manner within sales organization, completing own assignments accurately and within established time frames and achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Actively participate in special projects as assigned; assume responsibility for continuous learning along with quality productivity improvement
Education, Experience, Knowledge/Skills
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Three to five years of experience as an outside sales representative or Account Executive in a related industry.
Must have a successful sales record in driving sales from an inside sales environment. Previous experience selling background screening products to medium to large businesses preferred. Knowledge of the multifamily, tenant screening, employment screening, or the financial services industry preferred.
Works independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative. Expected to make sound decisions based on judgment and experience. Has ample discretion to resolve problems that may arise while performing the duties of the job.
Excellent sales techniques with ability to appropriately approach customers, make product presentations and effectively close sales.
Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with potential and existing customers. Effective communicator in both written and oral form with all levels of internal and external contacts. Strong negotiation skills that ensure favorable results and win-win solutions.
Work independently and in a team environment to achieve personal and team goals.
Technologically competent with ability to learn and demonstrate product features.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
