Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Software Developers in Vienna, VA. Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. Define and develop software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Specifically, collaborate with Developers, Testers, and Architects to build and to support applications. Maintain build server and manage integration builds/deployments in TeamCity. Maintain git repositories and perform branching/tagging for major and minor releases of applications. Responsible for configuring and provisioning of servers for QA/staging environments, ensuring availability of applications for QA testing for various applications, and developing chef scripts for infrastructure updates and maintenance across development, QA, staging, and product environments. Integrate builds and deploy using TeamCity. Debug and resolve issues related to automated builds and deployments. Build and deploy hotfixes to stage for testing and moving process for deploying hotfixes to production. Responsible for staging code, performing dry run, and pushing tags for production rollout.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software engineer-related occupation. Experience must include:
1) Designing and implementing build infrastructure using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Hudson, or Cruise Control; 2) Automating manual tasks and maintaining existing automation scripts using scripting languages such as PERL, Shell, XML, Ruby, Ant/Nant, or Windows Batch; 3) Managing source code using SCM tools such as Subversion, VSS, or GIT; 4) Automating infrastructure setup using Chef and Puppet tools; 5) Source Code review tools such as Crucible Fisheye; 6) Performing deployments using tools such as BMC Blade Logic; 7) Linux administration; 8) Issue tracking tools such as HP Service Manager, JIRA, or Quality Center; 9) Developing and managing internal tools using development languages such as .Net; 10) SQL Server database; 11) Functional testing, User Interface testing, Integration testing; 12) Project Management using Agile methodologies; and 13) Monitoring IT systems using Nagios and SensU.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
