Any unfavorable information developed during an investigation or other official inquiry may result in termination of employment in accordance with established security policies and procedures.As a Human Resource Officer Supervisory , you will:
Supervise a staff of Human Resources Management Specialists, contractors, and support personnel (including shared service providers) through grade GS-14 engaged in policy development and implementation, review and analysis, and technical guidance in all areas of human resources management (employee relations to include performance management and conduct; employee training and development; recruitment and placement/staffing services to include, college recruitment, OPM certification requests, merit promotion, special hiring authorities; pay-setting and administration:
position classification services; benefits and services (health insurance, life insurance, retirement, incentive awards, external awards, etc.); payroll services (indebtness, garnishments, pay, etc.); human resources system automation; SES program management; and special projects such as representing FINCEN on various special projects, serving as OHR coordinator for all functional areas on special, complex assignments and projects). Ensure determinations and decisions concerning major policy and courses of action are consistent with laws and regulations governing administration of employees and actual or probable impact on the work force in terms of morale, welfare, productivity are considered in the decision making. Provide staff leadership (managers, office and section chiefs, senior executives) and direction for planning, development, operation and evaluation of a comprehensive HR management program for the bureau. Review and recommend/approve selections, promotions, and reassignments of key personnel. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Independently providing detailed technical advice/consulting support to senior agency managers specific to Title 5 in at least 4 of the following areas:
staffing, workforce and succession planning, HR strategy, classification, compensation/benefits, employee relations; and - Leading (formally or informally) the work of HR staff members; and - Identifying and using metrics to support HR initiatives, recommendations, or programs. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
