Security Clearance:
This position has been designated National Security Level IV, Special Sensitive and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. Applicant must meet and continue to adhere to the requirements of a Tier 5 level background investigation. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination. Continued employment with FinCEN is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the Tier 5 level background investigation, the results of which fully meet the FinCEN's special employment criteria. All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of periodic reinvestigation and a continuing life style in conformity with applicable national and FinCEN directives. Any unfavorable information developed during an investigation or other official inquiry may result in termination of employment in accordance with established security policies and procedures. As a Deputy Associate Director for Management Division, you will:
Exercise program leadership, develop plans and policies, establish priorities, evaluate program effectiveness and identify the need for new services. Determine the most productive and cost effective means for accomplishing administrative objectives. Provide a full range of technical and administrative supervision, including recruitment and selection of key staff members, determining assignments, employee development, reviewing performance, recommending and approving promotions and awards, and handling performance and conduct issues. Represent the organization with high level officials within Treasury and at outside agencies, such as 0MB, OPM, GAO, and Congressional staff. Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Developing and managing programs in human resources, training, information management, logistics or facilities, and security. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
