3- Security Clearance:
This position has been designated National Security Level III, Critical Sensitive. Applicants must possess a favorably adjudicated Tier 5 level background investigation and have been awarded a Top Secret (TS) clearance. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination. Continued employment with FinCEN is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the Tier 5 level background investigation, the results of which fully meet the FinCEN's special employment criteria. All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of periodic reinvestigation and a continuing life style in conformity with applicable national and FinCEN directives. Any unfavorable information developed during an investigation or other official inquiry may result in termination of employment in accordance with established security policies and procedures. As an Acquisitions Operations Specialist, you will:
Develop acquisition package requirements that reflect recommendations on general management functions, executive decision processes, and interaction between primary program offices regarding bureau business processes and acquisition improvements. Ensure clear adjudication of legal requirements in the development of documents such as Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, interagency Agreements, etc. Assemble, classify, and summarize reported progress results and present them verbally, graphically or in written form, indicating current status of program progress deficiencies, outstanding accomplishments, and reasons for deviations from acquisition plans. Track acquisition project status information and prepare information papers and charts as necessary. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Assisting customers with acquisition techniques, developing acquisition strategies, and preparing acquisition packages. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
