HR Specialist (Employee Relations/Performance Management)

This is a non-sensitive position designated as high risk public trust, favorable adjudication of a Tier 4 investigation is required.
Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination.
Continued employment with FinCEN is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the Tier 4 level background investigation, the results of which fully meet the FinCEN's special employment criteria.
All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of periodic reinvestigation and a continuing life style in conformity with applicable national and FinCEN directives.
Any unfavorable information developed during an investigation or other official inquiry may result in termination of employment in accordance with established security policies and procedures.
As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations/Performance Management), you will:
Conduct FinCEN HR studies, reviews, research, and analysis of workforce management, performance management, and employee relations issues; Serve as the employee relations advisor providing interpretation, information and guidance on the full range of employee relations problems and issues; and Ensures that mandatory requirements are met for the FinCEN performance management program, employee relations program, leave administration and other FinCEN Work-Life programs.
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Provide advice, technical assistance, and policy guidance to staff, supervisors and/or senior management officials on a wide variety of topics related to employee relations, performance management, leave administration, and Work-Life programs; and -Design or lead Human Resource projects or studies and recommend solutions to issues that have significant impact on assigned human resources programs.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
