Job Description Our client is a provider of a broad range of services and staffing solutions to federal agencies and corporate clients.
They are seeking to add a Recruiter to the team This person will start off as a contractor ($30.
00 to $37.
00 hr DOE) and hopefully be promoted to a full-time perm ($80k base salary) employee if hitting metrics.

The Senior IT Recruiter will be responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment of technical and non-technical candidates, will help execute internal recruiting strategy, build relationships with hiring managers, recruiting vendors and prospective candidates, and work closely with upper management.
Interact with all levels within the organization to execute the recruitment process.

Fairfax, VA Must live within the area, once trained on systems - can work full time from home
Responsibilities:
Support federal government contracts by managing full cycle recruitment process to include screening applicants, negotiating offers, scheduling interviews, pre-employment screening, and working closely with HR and Security to move candidates through the hiring process.
Work closely with hiring managers to review ongoing staffing requirements and present qualified and cleared candidates.
Participate in leadership team meetings to provide weekly status updates to division leaders on recruiting activity and potential challenges.
Update the recruiting manager and president on progress through weekly status reports and regular conference calls.
Support business development on proposal recruiting efforts.
Attend regular proposal meetings and actively contribute to proposal development by keeping the team up to date on recruiting efforts.
Manage candidate workflows in iCIMS and ensure that iCIMS, SharePoint, and staffing trackers are always kept up to date.
Identify, develop, and implement innovative sourcing strategies to generate a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Leverage multiple recruiting sources and internet sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including databases, college campuses, search engines, job boards (ZipRecruiter, Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, Clearancejobs), social media, user groups, and blogs.
Participate in local professional networking groups, in person and virtual job fairs, and other recruiting events.
Work within recruiting processes while monitoring that process to improve and ensure recruiting best practices.
Occasionally participate in client meetings at the direction of management.
Qualifications:
5 years of hands-on IT recruiting experience for federal government is a MUST.
Experience recruiting for cleared, technical candidates (Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, TS SCI, etc.
) Experience recruiting for a high-volume organization with the ability to adapt to/respond quickly to changing priorities/deadlines with a high sense of urgency.
Experience with developing and analyzing recruiting metrics to develop recommendations for process improvement.
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Attention to detail and consistent follow up is essential.
MUST have an understanding of technical writing to assist candidates with resume/skills matrix update.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
US citizenship required.
