The Patient Relations Manager is responsible for leading a team or unit of customer service representatives and ensures service levels are met or exceeded.
Establish efficient and balanced work flows that maximize efficiency and produce high quality of service and customer satisfaction.
The Patient Relations Manager serves as a liaison between the Retail Offices and all levels within the organization to resolve customer issues and address inquiries.
The Patient Relations Manager should also analyze trends to advise senior leadership on what trainings should be implemented in the field to better serve our patients and provide a optimal patient experience.
Maximize organizational good-will while building customer loyalty and improve organizational efficiencies while reducing costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consistently maintain a courteous, professional, helpful demeanor when dealing with customers by telephone and through written correspondence.
Proactively research patient issues, identifying all pertinent information necessary to accurately analyze the problem and identify an effective solution.
Challenge team members in providing exceptional support to both internal and external customers.
Make effective independent decisions representing day-to-day issues that do not require team discussion, input or agreement.
Manage the monitoring and responses to feedback on Social Media sites, business review sites and provide details on overall company performance.
Develop recommendations for resolution of issue, in consult (and agreement) with the Director of Patient Relations, and then facilitate the actions necessary to address the issue with the appropriate departments or locations.
Participates in Ops Meetings, as required, providing pertinent information and input regarding customer satisfaction issues and trends as well as recommendations for training and/or other proactive steps that will prevent future reoccurrence of issues.
Manage day-to-day performance of direct reports.
Develop and facilitate development training of staff as needed.
Produce and administer performance appraisal and corrective action.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
Other duties, as assigned by supervisors.
Work Experience3
years of customer service and or general management-related experience within a similar office environment.
